All that is at Sky Tavern for the 2019 ski season

We are done with some things.
Classes, unless you can bribe an instructor. ( There are 7 brand new PSIA Level 1 Sky Tavern instructors as of last weekend!)
Buses, they have all been given back to Washoe County School District unharmed. Bus kids find a ride up, please. It is still your place too, but the buses are finished.
Chain requirements, maybe.
Shoveling, please.
But we are not done skiing.
Start bringing your friends and family to check the place out any open day until the end of the season. They can ski for $40 for adults and $15 for kids at the front desk. Lifts open at 9 AM weather permitting.
Saturday April 13. Open ski and races. The terrain park is world class!
Sunday April 14th Alumni Day and open house. No charge for guests to come ski on this day only. See skytavern.orgfor more. Lifts open at 9 AM, with alumni activities at 2-4 PM. Guests need to check in at the front desk. Also Bobos is done with demos. The other email had it wrong.
(Admittedly this event is all about trying to connect with the past alumni, donors and supporters. Sky Tavern needs to raise $2.5 million in the coming years to improve the area with snow making and lights. At 4 there will be a meet and greet for these folks. Please help make it a success.)
Saturday April 20 Come Ski and Easter Egg hunt by Eric
Sunday April 21 Closed for Easter
Saturday April 27 Closed to clean house.
Sunday April 28 Open skiing. Bring Friends and Family.
May the 4th. Star Wars Day. We need to find our own Princess Leia to lead the rebellion against the Empire. Rose will be closed so we could invite them to make it fun.
We will still need help making this all happen. In fact this is "what was I thinking" weekend for the "Moms". Friday is a rental party, Saturday a lunch special and then the Race Team Awards Dinner that night. Sunday is Alumni Day. I may not have any friends, a wife or daughter by Monday.
Sky Tavern is all about kid wins.
Keaton Clark is one of the Jr Instructors and saw a problem, no ski racks. So he convinced Haley Morrow and Kohl Johnson, all students at WCSD's Academy of Arts, Careers and Technology, to take this on as a junior project. They did it and we have new racks. Cool kids, good job.
And in case you didn't see the news, the new middle school in southwest Reno will be Marce Herz Middle School. We got the school named after the Mom that started it all for Sky Tavern back in 1948! Now we work on the mascot. Home of the Shredders? Yea, that will do.
PS. Did anyone pick up Coach Bender's drills Sunday night? Yellow DeWalts. Call the office or him please!!!!!!
