Update and Happy Thanksgiving

We have been outside all day cleaning up and getting ready for snow. All it takes is a foot of Sierra Cement and you spend the next week stomping around trying to remember where the part to the handle tow was sitting since last summer. Going to be ahead of all that this season. They are saying snow!

No meetings tonight, Nov. 20.

Tuesday, Nov. 27. 7 PM in the California Building in Idlewild Park. First of a few, new member general orientation meetings.

This is the first of several times we get together so all the parents understand the who, what, where and how of Sky Tavern. Since you now staff a ski area for kids, we don't really want to toss you in there with no clue of how the day works. We do this orientation a couple of times, so please make it to one. We also have meetings for just SkyKids parents and all instructors. There is a lot to making this place go and while chaos is still running the show it seems, there is a method to all this everyone needs to know.

I hate shopping, so gear rentals will be happening Saturday the 24th, 9-3 as long as the road is good. Don't take this wrong, but I hope to not see you because 431 is CLOSED! If not, come on up.

We are still planning on collecting toys and bikes for the kids of Paradise at the ski swap. With Scott coming from Chico to participate in our biggest fundraiser, it is just the right thing to do. Let's send him home with a full trailer of toys.

Still watching the pond for skating. I will let you know when Mike says thumbs up.

Happy Thanksgiving and safe travels.Say hi to Grandma for me.
